We have learned a series of mobility movements to start off our warm ups with. More and more I see people arriving late and skipping the mobility. If you are late, don't skip the mobility, particularly if you are among the folk who struggle to get good position in your squat or overhead movements. Do some mobility and some dynamic to prepare for the work out.
For the next little while I am going to post links to the Mobility Project. Kelly Starrett is a Dr. of Physical Therapy, owner of San Francisco Crossfit and has a very active performance based Physical Therapy practice. He posts a new MWOD everyday and is on # 341 / 365.
I am going to start today and post a page from his blog everyday. There are a few MWODs on each page. Take the time to check them out. and try them out We can all use a little better range of motion, not only in the gym but in the everyday function of our lives.
